Underground Productions (UP)

Published by Dokument Press, UP was created in 1992 as a counter weight to the ignorance that dominated the Swedish media when writing about hip-hop in general and graffiti in particular. The magazines arose from an existing network of photo traders that exchanged images and information in and outside of the scene. Throughout the years, UP covered lots of interviews with writers, reports from both classic and brand new graffiti cities. They were at the forefront and presented the graffiti avant-garde, but were at the same time firmly rooted in the proud history of graffiti.
