Scratching the Surface

The publication Scratching the Surface: An Exploration of Graffiti and Street Art is composed of seven essays written by Daniël de Jongh, Lene ter Haart, Robert Kaltenhäuser, Javier Abarca, Stephen Burke, Raenys Martis, Ana Maria Hernandez, and Robin Vermeulen. The authors all share their professional and personal experiences with graffiti and street art, offering a range of perspectives on these artforms as well as showcasing their potential. The variety in positions and perspectives of the authors also generates plenty of room for further discussion.

Released amidst the photography exhibition "With one eye open" (@with_one_eye_open_expo) by curator Jasper van Es. This event was organized by the Mondriaan fund.
