Lady Pink Catalogue
(2024)

Lady Pink graffiti & co exhibition catalog (April 23 - May 19, 2024). Lady Pink was 15 when she started graffiti in Queens, New York. In an urban landscape then virtually taken over by men, she quickly made a name for herself as the "First Lady of Graffiti". She began clandestinely painting New York's subways by night, while Manhattan galleries courted her by day. At the age of 21, she presented her first solo exhibition. Today, Lady Pink's work has evolved and is transformed on canvas, where she transposes the codes of graffiti, which she has reappropriated and reinvented. Her work has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum.
