Charles Hargrove, born in New York in 1963, grew up surrounded by figures like A-One and Toxic (later to become great masters) who lived in the same neighborhood of the South Bronx. Hargrove attended the Art and Design School in Midtown, a remote enough location that required him to travel to and from school every day, a route that gave him access to the world of subway trains.

Produced in a limited edition and created in direct collaboration with the artist, the catalog consists of 95 pages containing the works that gave life to Kool Koor's personal exhibition, as well as photographs of the "making of" of the paintings and images of the vernissage of the exhibition. Printed in 24 x 16 cm format, it includes an essay by the art critic Luca Cantore D'Amore and an interview conducted by the curator Jane Rankin-Reid with the artist and the gallery owners of Arena Studio d'Arte.
